Pilates Physique Class Offerings
Small Group Classes
consist of Pilates done on a mat, class size not to exceed 10 participants or on the different pieces of apparatus, class size not to exceed 6 participants. Group classes are 45-55 minutes in length. New clients must complete 3 privates* before taking apparatus classes.
All Pilates Physique offerings are subject to our 24-hour cancellation policy. We adhere to our policy to ensure class flow and fitness level consistency and to compensate our teachers that spend countless hours training and maintaining their certifications to deliver you the utmost of expertise and customer service. We also understand that life can throw you a curve so contact us when in doubt.
Mat Express – class is open to all levels and offered during lunch. This 45-minute class will reenergize your body to get you thru the rest of your day. Using Joseph Pilates 6 Pilates Principles this class will flow thru exercises necessary to condition your abs, legs & arms. Emphasizing breath while performing the exercises will create a sense of calm or euphoria after class.
Mat Basics – class is open to all levels this full length, 55 minute class focuses on the fundamentals & beginner system mat exercises as Mr. Pilates intended them to be executed. Mat Basics is perfect for beginners, those with physical limitations or anyone looking to bring it back to the beginning and increase core awareness. New exercises are introduced as individual participants progress thru the beginner system onto the intermediate level.
Intermediate Mat – 55 minutes of intermediate exercises building upon the beginner mat system. Come to challenge your core and we don’t mean just your abs. Beginner mat class experience required.
Mat w/Props – class is also a 55-minute class. Participants must have an understanding of the Pilates fundamentals and the beginner system exercises. Props will be introduced at this time bringing beginner exercises to the next level or as assistance when introducing intermediate system level exercises. Props used are foam rollers, stretchy bands and magic circles. Small balls can be used to bring focus to different areas in the body. All props are used to support, stretch and release muscles thru out the class.
All mat classes can be adapted and exercises modified to fit your fitness needs and limitations on any given day.

Classical Reformer – exercises performed on the reformer using resistance of springs and movement of the carriage engages core muscles enabling stabilization and a flow of movement thru the joints. This class is designed for all fitness levels and will increase core strength (not just your abs), stamina, flexibility and range of motion. The overall goal is to maintain proper posture and optimal lung breathing by practicing the Pilates Method thru the beginner, intermediate and eventually advanced systems. This class 45-minute class can be restorative, sculpting or both. Executing the classical reformer exercises can improve how you function in your daily work and play activities. Classical Reformer is great for anyone, each participant will progress at their own pace while being taught in a safe yet challenging atmosphere.
Reformer Jumpboard – adds a cardio element to your reformer routine. Utilizing the jumpboard, springs and varying degrees of resistance will get your heart pumping. This class is an invigorating and stamina provoking 45 minutes of coordination between abs, back & legs.
Tower w/props – Tower class with a little something special. Using varying props during this 55 minute tower class enhances stamina & strength. Using props brings deeper focus to the core muscles and adds a bit of “umpf”! Do you accept the challenge?
Tower of Power – experience Pilates exercises on the Tower using straps and springs. Feel the power of resistance! The Tower system of exercises are done mindfully and intentionally to lengthen and tone. This 55 minute class brings your mind & body together. Where the reformer exercises are like performing a dance, the tower exercises are equal to strength training without ever stepping into a gym. Adding small props will increase the intensity of each execution. The props allow you to get in touch with the small muscles sculpting and toning for that “ripped” muscle effective without adding bulk. Concentration and precision are key principles to use while practicing the Pilates Method on the Tower.
Foam Roller with the Tower class – will bring any exercise program to the next level. Using the foam roller brings already challenging exercises to the next level. A great workout because the imbalance in the body forces you to engage your core and maintain that engagement throughout the class. The foam roller will be used on the Towers while performing classical mat and tower exercises. Additional benefits of using the foam roller comes from the release of muscle tension when using your own body weight against the roller. Stretch & release exercises can be performed at home to maintain flexibility and keep muscles supple & free flowing. Great for those that work at a computer, do heavy lifting or sit for long periods.
Mixed Apparatus – class is 55 minutes of mixed use apparatus. You’ll have the opportunity to work on the reformer, tower or both any given week. The class moves at a slighter quicker pace but still offers the same challenges as our open level apparatus classes. Feel the difference each piece of apparatus has to offer when performing the same exercises. The reformer flows and accesses the abdominals for stability, the tower gives you the strength training you may be missing in your weekly routine. Class limit is set to 6.
Instructor’s Choice – This 45 minute class is open to all fitness levels. Clients will enjoy a different workout using either the reformer or tower each week. Your teacher will gear the class towards the number of participants and their level of Pilates experience. Class will be challenging and invigorating.
30/30 – Judging by the class title this class is 60 minutes in length and will be a combo of 30 minutes on the reformer and 30 minutes of rigorous mat work or tower exercises. Class will move at a quicker pace and the teacher will ensure all are challenged and leave wanting more.

All session & group class packages expire. 10 packs expire 4 months from date of purchase and all 5 packs have a 2 month expire limit. If you need a package extension there will be a $15 fee due before package can be extended for another month. All packages can be purchased online and small group classes can be scheduled too. We accept all forms of payment, including American Express!! 10% discount applied to payments made in cash, for seniors, students and military personnel on packages of 10 ONLY!
