The skills taught in these workshops are useful throughout daily life and can positively effect not only you but those around you. some are calming, others self educating and even life saving. enjoy our serene quiet learning environment.
CPR ARD First Aid Training
Students participate and learn the skills necessary to save a life. There is no written test and the certification is valid for 2 years through the American Heart Association. The workshop is 2 hours in length and requires preregistration.
This workshop is available to beginners and experienced practitioners alike. The purpose is to gain a better understand and execute the Pilates Method of exercises as Joseph Pilates intended. You’ll learn who Joseph Pilates was, when & how he created the Method he called ‘Contrology” as well as define his 6 Pilates Principles. You’ll better understand basic Pilates terms, clarify posture patterns, create body awareness by briefly touching upon anatomy of bones & muscles. There will be a 45 minute mat followed by workshop discussion and a Q&A. Workshop length is 2-2 1/2 hours.
Feet Our Foundation
We stand on them, we walk on them but we ignore their health and well being. Learn exercises, stretches and foot posture to alleviate foot discomfort and maintain overall foot health to keep us moving thru the years!
International Pilates Day
Join us for this annual event and help us celebrate the Pilates Method and the man, Joseph Pilates that brought “Contrology” to life. We offer free mat classes, apparatus demos and Q&A’s. This event happens the first Saturday of May every year.
