Studio Policies and More

Seven instructors, each with their own training — from classic certified training to scoliosis-informed movement to iRest meditation.

Remember our Refer-a-Friend program — for every package your friend buys, you receive a service of equal value.

We understand some circumstances are out of your control, but all cancellations within 24 hours will be charged the full session/class fee. This is not uncommon in our industry — some of you may have experienced this with doctors and other service-type businesses.

Let's get started
Clothing
The right pilates wear can help you enjoy a pilates workout comfortably, avoid distractions, and even keep you safe.

Pilates clothing is very similar to yoga clothing in that it should be breathable and comfortable. You’ll need to be able to stretch, bend, sit, and stand in your clothing. You’ll also want to make sure that your clothes will wick away sweat to keep you cool during a session.

While your clothing should be comfy, avoid wearing anything that’s too loose or oversized. If you’re enjoying a mat pilates class, loose clothing may fall over your face when you bend or cause you to be distracted. In a reformer class, loose clothing can get caught in the reformer.  It’s really all about feeling comfortable so you probably wont want anything too low waisted either.

Leggings, tank tops, and t-shirts in lightweight, moisture-wicking materials are a great choice for your first at Pilates session or studio class.

Zippers, Clips, Buttons, Jewelry
For the same reason that you shouldn’t wear clothing that is too loose or oversized, you’ll also want to avoid zippers, clips, buttons, hard embellishments, or strings on your clothing. Each of these items can cause a distraction, make it uncomfortable to lie on the floor or get in the way while using pilates equipment.

Think about getting a long string caught in a reformer or the damage zippers and other sharp embellishments can cause on the mats, pads, tower, reformer – well, all of our equipment.

Long Hair? We love it but....
If you have long hair, tie it back before trying pilates virtually or in studio. Like the ties on a hoodie, your hair can get in your way while using our equipment such as the reformer. Plus, tying back your hair can help you stay cooler during your workout.
Want to wear socks?
We love socks too – but please remember Pilates involves balance. Socks must have grip on them to help you avoid slipping or sliding on the equipment.

Our feet and our balance go hand in hand and the last thing you want is to lose your balance during your session.

We love bare feet too.

Group Class Participants, we will be assessing a $75 annual admin fee to manage your class schedule. You will receive an annual invoice by December 15th of each year.

To avoid the fee please setup time with Denise to learn how to use MindBody.  This will allow you to  be in control of booking and canceling your classes.

All packages can ONLY purchased through the studio. 10 packs purchased by cash or check, 20 packs can be purchased by cash, check or credit card. Cash gets you one extra class/session.
